I had put it off for years on the grounds that it would be complicated. It was not complicated. Somebody met us at the airport, the signs were in English, and the trains ran to the minute.
Sentosa took a full day and I would give it two. Universal Studios I went to for the grandchildren’s sake and enjoyed more than they would believe.
What I did not expect was the food courts — clean, cheap, and better than half the restaurants I have paid for.
The passport now has three stamps in it. I intend to fill it.
